Spiced Pecans Recipe

Pecans are popular in Louisiana. Try this Spiced Pecans recipe for something to snack on if you love the taste of pecans.

2 pounds of unsalted pecans

4 tablespoons of unsalted butter, melted

2 teaspoons of cayenne pepper

1 tablespoon of garlic powder

1 tablespoon of kosher salt

4 tablespoons of dark brown sugar

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Melt the unsalted butter in a microwave and pour over the pecans.

In a large bowl, sprinkle the pecans with the brown sugar, kosher salt, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper.

Spread the pecans onto a baking sheet that has been covered with aluminum foil. Bake for 30 minutes and turn frequently to make sure it cooks evenly.

Store in an airtight container to keep fresh.
