Mexican Chicken Wings



This Mexican chicken wings recipes has lots of crunch from the addition of crushed tortilla chips.

1 pound of chicken wings, tips discarded

½ cup of corn oil

¼ cup of chili powder

2 teaspoons of cayenne pepper

1 teaspoon of Mexican oregano

1 teaspoon of ground cumin

12 ounces of tortilla corn chips

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

In a small bowl, whisk together the corn oil, chili powder, oregano and cumin. Blend well. Set aside.

Add the tortilla chips to a food processor until it resembles a coarse meal. Pour into a bowl.

Take the chicken wings and dip into the flavored oil. Next, dredge the chicken wings into the ground tortilla chips until well coated.

Place the chicken wings on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minute our until brown and crisp. Serve hot.
