Marinade for Meats Recipe

This is a great marinade for meats recipe. My sister Dorothy got this simply recipe from my brother in law who is from Ghana, Africa.

Apparently, these spices are also common in his country. The blend of spices act as a natural tenderizer and really adds a lot of flavor. You can use it on chicken, beef, pork.

1/2 cup of ginger, skin peeled

4 gloves of garlic

4 habanero or scotch bonnet peppers

1 medium red onion

2 tablespoons of water

Place all ingredients into a blender or food processor. Loosen the mixture with the two tablespoons of water. Pour over meat and marinate for 3 hours or overnight.

Note: This recipe has no salt added. The way to really use this recipe is to season your meat with whatever you like. For example, salt, pepper, garlic powder, seasoning salt, etc. After your meat is seasoned you then pour the marinated mixture over the meat.
