Chipolte Pico De Gallo

What’s the difference between jarred salsa and making your own? You get the benefit of tasting fresh ingredients with no preservatives. This Chipolte Pico De Gallo recipe uses plum tomatoes and lime juice.

¼ cup fresh lime juice

1 tablespoon of minced canned chipolte chilies in adobo sauce

4 garlic cloves, minced

2 cups of chopped and seeded fresh plum tomatoes

1 cup of chopped red onion

½ cup chopped fresh cilantro

In a large glass bowl, combine the lime juice, chilies and minced garlic. Stir in the chopped plum tomatoes, red onion and fresh chopped cilantro. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
