Chimichurri

Chimichurri is a sauce used on steaks and poultry. This recipe has lots of fresh cilantro and garlic.

1 cup of cilantro

6 garlic cloves. chopped

¼ cup of parsley

½ cup of white balsamic vinegar

1 small red onion, diced

Juice of 1 lime

¼ cup of chopped fresh oregano

1 small jalapeno, seeded and diced

3/4 cup of olive oil

Place all of the ingredients in a blender or food processor using the “chop” selection. Process until it creates a chunky sauce. Place into a glass container. Use immediately or can be stored in the refrigerator for 1 week.
