Caribbean Rice



This rice is so simple to make. It has the flavors of red onion, coconut and garlic and is slightly spicy with scotch bonnet hot pepper sauce. If you like it more on the spicier side you could use an actual scotch bonnet pepper or habanero pepper finely diced (seeds removed) and add it in when sautéing the rice.

After this rice has cooked, remove the lid and let rest for about five minutes before serving.
