Adobo

Adobo is another way of adding flavor to chicken, steak or seafood. This can be used as a dipping sauce or as a marinade.

1 cup of scallions

½ cup of cilantro

4 garlic cloves

¼ cup of fresh lime juice

1 teaspoon of kosher salt

½ teaspoon of crushed red pepper

¼ teaspoon of crushed black pepper

½ cup of extra virgin olive oil

Place all of the ingredients except the olive oil into a food processor. Pulse the ingredients until just combined. Pour the mixture into a glass bowl and stir in the olive oil.

Use immediately or store in the refrigerator for later use.
